A public website
with a working system behind it.

The Senior Living Truth Series needed a clear way to share its educational events and a dependable system to run everything that happened after someone clicked “register.”

The starting point

From a website refresh to operation clarity.

The series brings people together for seminars, tours, and expert insights around senior living. The public experience needed to make those events easy to understand and easy to join.

What began as a conversation about a website face lift turned into a realization of operational need.

The team originally wanted a modern website look. As the design solidified, it was realized that many operational headaches could be cured by having an application to manage the Series.

Behind each event was a set of time-consuming, manual processes: publishing schedules, updating links, managing partnership sections, collecting attendee information, sending confirmations, tracking attendance, and preparing materials for the team on the ground.

We treated the website and the internal workflow as one connected product instead of two separate projects.

The process

From a visible experience to a complete workflow.

01

Understand the journey

Start with what people need to do.

We mapped the experience from the first visit to the event itself: finding the right seminar, understanding the details, registering an individual or spouse, receiving confirmation, and showing up with the right information.

02

Model the operation

Make the real-world relationships explicit.

The Django application models events, locations, education partners, attendees, registrations, news, FAQs, and other content so the team can manage the program in a way that matches how it actually operates.

03

Support the people running it

Give the team visibility.

An admin dashboard gives staff a place to manage event and partner content, attendee search and tagging, registration status, attendance tracking, and exports for sign-in sheets, nametags, attendee details, and analytics.

04

Reduce manual, redundant work

Automate the routines.

API integrations and automatically updating page content reduce manual work that the team has to do, streamlining processes and freeing them to focus on the community.

The result

Less manual work between interest and insight.

The finished product is a responsive public website powered by an administrative application tailored to the team's needs. Visitors get a clearer path to the right event. Staff get one place to manage the information and relationships that keep the series moving.

That means the system is useful on both sides of the screen: it communicates the purpose of the series publicly and gives the team practical tools to operate it privately.

A better foundation

Build the thing people see.
Support the work they do.

For the Senior Living Truth Series, the best solution was not just a better front door. It was a connected system that made the work behind that door more organized, visible, and repeatable.
